Super Junior’s Donghae and Eunhyuk rank 2nd on the Oricon chart

Super Junior’s Donghae and Eunhyuk released their first Japanese debut single Oppa, Oppa and ranked 2nd on the Oricon daily single chart and weekly chart.
On April 10, a spokesperson for Super Junior said, “The single, which was released on April 4 in Japan, ranked 2nd on both the Oricon daily single chart and weekly chart.”
Even though they didn’t promote the single at all in Japan, it ranked 2nd after Japanese rock band B’z. The single also ranked first on the single chart (4.2.2012-4.8.2012) of Tower Records, one of the biggest record chains in Japan, and proved that the song is very popular in Japan.
In addition, since the single sold out at several record shops even on the day of its release, it was expected to be so popular.
Donghae and Eunhyuk will hold a premium live event on April 11 to celebrate the release of their first Japanese single.
Super Junior will release their third single Opera on May 9 and hold the Super Show 4 on April 12 and 13 at the Tokyo Dome.
